Management Unit of R+D+i
Innovating in business management
The pharmaceutical industry is among the major sectors that invest in R+D+i. Due to the final objective of its products, that is, to interact with the organism in order to induce some controlled changes that will end up in a health improvement, medicines are demanded to demonstrate their efficacy, safety and quality. Thus, these three premises will contribute to guarantee consumers’ safeguard.
On the basis of this assumption, Ojer Pharma has incorporated a business management tool that has risen after a thorough investigation of current organizational models. The Management Unit of R+D+i (referred as “UGIDI”, according to its Spanish abbreviation) is an unparalleled management system of research, development and implementation activities, in compliance with a number of rules (UNE 16600X) conformed with European regulation, which guarantees both quality and success of R+D+i activities.
On the other hand, the UGIDI is comprised by different Units of R+D+i, referred as “UIDI”, which are in charge of the execution of different projects. These units are constituted by professionals belonging to different areas of the company, as well as the Marketing Manager, the Regulatory Affairs Manager, the Scientific Manager, and the Controller. The latest ones contribute to maintain a non-scientific vision of the project and, simultaneously they inform the UGIDI of the outputs and possible deviations, needed corrections and risk factors that may appear along the processes. The multidisciplinary character of these units results in a constant information flow that enables to tackle pathologies from a global and much more complete perspective.
